Danto Builders is proud to announce that Debbie Danto has been appointed as the 2025 Chair of the Board for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. The installation took place at the Chamber’s 115th Annual Meeting on February 21st in front of 350+ attendees. This prestigious appointment reflects Debbie’s longstanding commitment to the Greater Fort Lauderdale business community and her leadership in the construction and development industry.

As the COO of Danto Builders, Debbie has played a pivotal role in growing Danto Builders in South Florida through building relationships with clients and the community, persistence and relentless attention to detail. Her and her husband’s, Craig Danto, industry expertise spans commercial, aviation, hospitality, healthcare, multifamily, retail government and industrial projects, always with a focus on quality and integrity. Her leadership at Danto Builders has helped many businesses and organizations bring their visions to life.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Debbie has been an active and passionate advocate for local businesses, economic growth, workforce development and heart health. Her involvement with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental in fostering collaboration among industries and enhancing opportunities for entrepreneurs and business leaders in the region.

During the Chamber’s 115th Annual Meeting, Debbie emphasized the importance of the collective strength of this Chamber, and the remarkable opportunities before us. She stated, “Your talents, expertise, influence, and support are essential. Together, we create a powerful network united by a common mission: to develop and connect our partners for economic growth.”
Debbie shared, like many small business owners, she was looking for a return on investment. But what she discovered was something far greater, which has kept her involved at the Chamber. She found relationships—relationships that didn’t just grow her business but provided value and resources to her company, and to her personally and professionally. As Chair this year, she is committed to helping every member Build Relationships; therefore:
The Vision for the Chamber in 2025 Is Focused on Its Members
Debbie stated, “We are here to serve you. We have already been listening and planning based on surveys and feedback, which tell us exactly what our members value most, including:
- Growing their business;
- Making an impact on the community; and
- Networking with business leaders.
To make these priorities a reality, the Chamber will focus on the following three key initiatives:
- Strengthening Councils under the leadership of Dr. Ty Richardson to enhance collaboration and business opportunities.
- Elevating Events & Engagement to provide greater value and connectivity headed by Milissa Milroy of the Galleria Mall.
- Amplifying Brand & Member Visibility to increase awareness of the Chamber benefits, members, and community impact, and promote business growth. Anthony Santana with Hardcore Advertising and Chris Savage with Savage Global Marketing are tackling this opportunity head on.
Additionally, the Chamber has reactivated the Strategic Planning Committee led by Dr. Alec Bogdanoff, owner of Brizaga, to unify these initiatives as well as develop additional priorities that will benefit our members now and in the future while driving profitable growth for our Chamber.
